Nancy Vincent and Yves shared information about Green Up Keene taking place on April 24th. Bags can be picked up downtown at 8:00 a.m. and you will be sent out to different locations. Yves shared the information below:
The City has decided to hold a physically-distanced version of Green Up Keene this year (see https://ci.keene.nh.us/public-works/green-up-keene for more info). Talented City of Keene staff are creating a promotional song and video, and they need short video clips of people dancing to the song and picking up trash around Keene. The lyrics and song are attached (recorded by Eric Swope).

If you are interested in being part of the recording for the Club, I will be happy to coordinate. It should be a quick video and we can meet after work or over the weekend.

Please, let me know if you have any questions, and thank you in advance for your help!

Phil Hueber shared that it's budgeting time and asked the committees to send him their budgets. Yves and Phil will get to work on finalizing next fiscal year's budget.

Susan and Denise gave an update about the Follow Me efforts. 27 schools have been contacted and all are excited. Steve, from Toy City, is giving us a very good price on jump ropes for the 3rd graders who didn't get sneakers last year due to the pandemic.
Ted shared that the sneakers will be picked up next week!

Craig Stockwell shared that they received several applications for Unsung Hero scholarships and the committee will get to work on choosing who recipient(s) is.

Kathy Collinsworth shared a thank you letter from Cheshire County Conservation for the $856 allocation for their Farm Camp Scholarships.

Kathy Collinsworth shared that her Mom's 17 year old cat needed to be euthanized and that her son, Seth, ruptured his ACL and tore his MCL and meniscus in a pick up basketball game. Surgery in mid May. Also, MHS had 14 dogs transported from the south if anybody is interested. They fly out the door!
