Our speakers were Scott and Christine Clarke of Douglas Cuddle Toys talking about their history and how they have navigated COVID as a business.

Announcements:
Katherine Richardson thanked everybody who contributed towards the breastfeeding pods and for the club match. The Cheshire Health Foundation has managed to raise enough money for two pods which are now on order!
 
Susan Newcomer shared that over $400 was raised by Rotarians to help feed the volunteers at the vaccinations site at Krif Road. She contacted Kristin's and they will be bringing 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches with the funds raised and they will be donating sweets to go with it all.
 
Foundation:
Ann Heffernon called out with another reminder about recipe needs for the Men Who Cook Cookbook to benefit MFS- recipes due on March 1st. 
 
Cheryl Belair shared that, with Kerry Kelley's help, she was able to get her elderly neighbors in the condo vaccinated - as well as George and Marcia from Kristin's on the list!
 
Dick and Marian Hamilton have received their 2nd shots and Marian brought 4 big crockpots of her Tortellini soup to the volunteers on Krif Road. 
 
Samantha Wilhelm received her 1st shot and is currently hiring her replacement at work.  Her last day will be March 12 or 19. 
 
John Round wanted to thank Peter Bradshaw for clearing his driveway while he was in Florida caring for his Mom who was undergoing spinal cord surgery. He never thought he was going to have to discuss bowel movements with his Mom and it made him think of Dr. Bob!
 
Dr. Bob chimed in to say that it has been 10 years since his intestinal surgery and things have been going very smoothly. He got his 2nd vaccination 2 weeks ago. 
 
While we were on the zoom meeting, Mike Chelstowski got a call from his son Alex that they are headed to the hospital to welcome into the world the two twin girls that are due!
 
Rotarians shared how great it is to have a drive by siting of other Rotarians and to wave frantically with excitement.
 
Susan Newcomer shared that they had their first "spring" bear siting at the bird feeders! In Feb??
 
Ann Looney shared that if you have any Eastern Blue Birds and want to keep them coming back, feed them mealworms. She celebrated her birthday with two close friends visiting and snowshoeing in the woods. 
 
Marion had a lovely evening serving at the Community Kitchen with Marti and Lisa Migneault.
 
Phil Hueber had a nice dinner at the Inn under patio heaters with friends. 
 
Alan Stroshine enjoyed a rare day off and skied with his good friend, Jen and his brother in law. The powder was perfect!
