Monadnock Restaurant Project: We are all about our local community and what better way to show our support than being involved in the Monadnock Restaurant Project. This is an effort launched by three local partners: The Local Crowd Monadnock, Culinary Journeys and Food Connects. The idea sprung from Luca Paris of Luca’s Mediterranean Café where he firsthand has been experiencing the challenges of owning a restaurant during this pandemic, especially during these colder months. He wanted to find a way to help support the local restaurant owners in our area and this is how the Monadnock Restaurant Project developed. The group initially invested $10,000 and purchased dozens of gift certificates from 28 local eateries in Keene.
