Inga invited club members to join the Marketing Committee and asked that you email her if you're interested.
Alan Stroshine - on Katherine Richardson's behalf - thanked the club for the donation towards the lactation pods that are being used by the CMC/DHK breastfeeding staff.
Beth Kirkpatrick asked for help with a password related to our gmail account so that she could upload some files for Follow Me to a thumbdrive (Hope I got that right,Beth!).
Mary Delisle thanked the large group of Rotarians for their help with cleaning up Pocket Park and invited members to swing by with water to help with the new plantings.
Ann Looney shared that there will be a picnic at Kurn Hatten on Sept 25 from noon - 1:30 for those who would like to attend. They could also use more committee members.
Ken Jue shared that there will be a Paul Harris Fellow meeting after our May 27th meeting.
Susan Newcomer thanked those who have been helping with sneakers and the everchanging logistics. Thanks for your patience - she's doing her best!
Alan shared his feelings related to meeting in person again and no more masks.
Just a reminder that Kathy has reached out to Keene Housing 4 times throughout the year and they are not offering the space yet. In addition, David Stinson checked in with the church on Central square, but they are not available until after July or August. Craig Stockwell is looking into the Show Room at the Colonial and will discuss this possibility with Alec Doyle. It's not for lack of trying.
Foundation:
There were lots of shout outs for the Men Who Cook event - especially to Yves with all of his behind the scenes help. You can still buy cookbooks and get a copy of the video with Ted, Luca and Danny starring in it! The cookbooks can be bought at Toadstool and Prime Roast.
Alan Stroshine shared that Alex graduated from Nichols with his MBA. He found a new passion for the outdoors and will be working as a counselor at Kroka Expeditions.
Jay Smeltz thanked Craig Stockwell for his help with a family heirloom painting that Craig provided much needed attention to and it's not hanging nicely in their home.
Laura gave a shout out to Phil W for his profile in the Sentinel. Such an accomplished career and doing great work.
Heidi shared that the kids got their second vaccines and Peter is headed to Seattle.
Nancy enjoyed the energy at Pocket Park and is headed to NYC for a week.
Susan Newcomer babysat her grandson so that Abby and Grayson could go away for the first time since he was born! Alan pointed out that one of the 3rd graders was wearing a tshirt that embodied Susan's personality - "I'm not being bossy. I have leadership skills."
